This is a cover of the album version, abridged because I like it that way. Thank you @BucketheadExperience for making me a special backing track without rhythm guitars so I could do them myself. Go give him a sub, he posts regularly. Q&A ⬇️ Q: How did you record this? A: I used one take for each clean guitar, hard panning it to either side with a slight desync. Distorted rhythm guitars were two different takes, also hard panned. The solo track is in mono just like the original. Q: What gear did you use? A: ESP M-1000HT, Vox V847 wah, Digitech Whammy DT, tortex yellow Q: How did you process the guitars? A: Bias FX 2 with the cabinet bypassed, GGD Cali as the cab IR. On the lead, ping pong delay and some light reverb. Eq between bias and Cali, also some post eq. Trackspacer on the rhythm bus receiving audio from the lead, which allows the lead to slightly attenuate frequencies from the rhythm guitar, creating more space for the lead.
