Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov and Algerian Minister of Justice Abderrachid Tabbi signed a cooperation program for the years 2024-2025 following negotiations. The program focuses on combating transnational organized crime, countering terrorism, extremism, and corruption. Krasnov visited Algeria for the second time in the last six months. The Russian Prosecutor General visited the North African country in November 2023. At that time, Russia and Algeria signed an agreement on judicial cooperation to combat extremism, terrorism, money laundering, illegal drug trafficking, and arms smuggling.
