Bellingham Scottish Country Dancers dance “J B Milne“ an 8 x 32 bar reel to the music of the group Up in the Air at their monthly dance held at the YWCA in Bellingham. Visit for information on weekly dance lessons. J B Milne is a reel devised by Hugh Ross to honor a Scottish fiddler (J. B. Milne) who used to play for silent movies and later owned several cinemas. In the first 1/2 of the dance the movements depict film going through the reels of a projector (with the first couple standing for the threading film), while the second half depicts the rectangular corners of the screen.
