Asa (Ikoi Hayase) lost her parents in a car accident. At the funeral Asa meets her aunt, Makio (Yui Aragaki) who had not seen her in many years. Makio became estranged from Asa's mother due to the constant berating Asa's mother levied on Makio for being different. As Asa struggles to process the loss of her parents, Makio suggest Asa start writing her feelings down in a diary and come to live with her. As the two live together they start to learn more about themselves.
