(Requiem in D minor, K. 626) - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756–1791). Orchestra and Choir, feat. Symphony choir of Anápolis. This project was born due to the challenging times we have been facing. It is very gratifying to count on different musicians from different parts of the country and even from all over the globe. Each song has unique cultural and emotional stories. We wanted to join their stories in one song, “Lacrimosa”, (which means “weeping”). This song is a sequence from Mozart’s Requiem, and it relates to these mournful days. Instead of dwelling on this time of sorrow, which is inevitable at this moment, it is necessary and important to have a resilient perspective that everything will be fine.
