Yawar Chicchi is a Peruvian dance troupe that specializes in the traditional “Dance of the Scissors“. They played here a couple years ago and I recorded them, and I got to meet a couple members afterward. I just stumbled onto this file looking for something else, and thought folks might be interested. There are four parts, and the fourth is the best and coming 's interesting how the native Qechua speaking people used European instruments like harp and violin to replicate the native music.
