This is a nearly complete unique hybrid mix using a better quality Flyer's channel 29 WTAF video feed, with a Rangers MSG audio broadcast overdub. Starts out good, but the audio runs a few seconds ahead as it progresses, likely due to that DVD player being a fraction faster speed than the other DVD player I used for the video. They were both simultaneously mixed onto a third DVD Ram recorder. Thought it worth a try since my highlights upload of this game has proved to be the most viewed one. The Smurf series! The Rangers upset the heavily favored Flyers with a three game series sweep, the final game a 9-3 blowout at MSG. The Flyers played it rough, taking runs at Ranger goalie Ed Mio right from the start, nearly causing a bench clearing brawl. Slashes and spears that would earn suspensions in today's NHL. But it didn't work. Pelle Lindbergh had a bad game, but was never pulled, he was kept in for all 9 Ranger goals. All copyrights reserved by the NHL. Posted for historic
