This video shows “how to“ tear down the Pentax Optio E10 digital camera. This particular camera had a problem with battery voltages. Specifically it reported good batteries as being weak. The problem was caused by battery leak damage to the battery terminals. The video show where the time/date battery is in case you need to replace it. I threw in some tangential items, such as the fate of the Pentax brand name. Included is a comparison to a nearly identical Sanyo VPC-S600. This was to demonstrate that consumer electronics with respected brand names are often made by unnamed Chinese contract manufacturers. Manuals for the Pentax Optio E10:
