SPIZZENERGI additional songs 01 wheres captain kirk In August 1977 a weird and wonderful improvisational musician crashed onto the UK punk scene. Going by the name Spizz, it wasn't long before he was touring as Spizz Oil, releasing two Eps, 6000 Crazy and Cold City, which topped the indie charts in 1978. In 1979 they recorded the legendary Soldier Soldier and the punk classic Where's Captain Kirk? ensuring the newly christened Spizz Energi a place in the punk rock hall of fame. Spizz continued to record and tour under various monikers (Athletico Spizz 80, Spizzsexual, Spizzvision etc.) eventually reuniting as Spizzenergi for the Holidays In the Sun Concert in Blackpool, August 1996. This film features their performance from that historic weekend and has a wealth of previously unreleased footage. All the old favourites are here in a show that re-energised both the performers and the fans.
