“Serenata Rimpianto (Serenade of Regret), Op.6, No.1“ is the full name Enrico Toselli (1883 - 1926) assigned to his most famous work. It is, however, mostly referred as the “Toselli’s Serenade“. Toselli wrote this piece in 1900, at the age of seventeen based on lyrics written by Alfredo Silvestri.
