A small compilation of moth squeaks! Deaths head hawk moth ( Acherontia atropos) This is the only moth known to squeak so it’s only right I share it will you all! These moths also need feeding, I hand feed them every other day using fresh honey and water mixture. A 50/50 mix ratio. Using a toothpick/cocktail stick I unravel his proboscis and guide him to his food. When it’s the moths first few times getting fed they do tend to squeak! There ok though so don’t worry. It’s just a defensive mechanism and they do get used to you. In the wild these moths will sneak into bee hives and steal honey! 🍯 which is why they look like a huge bee. There undercover. While feeding in captivity i dont think the moths recothe food i offer in this little bowl and ao they wont feed themselves. These moths can live for around 6 weeks
