HAING NGOR Returns to the Cambodian Killing Fields

Haing S. Ngor who was a Cambodian American gynecologist, obstetrician, actor, author, and refugee played the role of Dith Pran in “The Killing Fields“ and won an oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 1985. in this documentary filmed in refugee camps at the Thai Cambodian border Haing S. Ngor is returning to the camps where he used to help the displaced. On February 25, 1996, Ngor was shot dead outside his home in Chinatown, in downtown Los Angeles, California
