Alfie Andrews, a 12-year-old singer from Manchester, England, stunned the judges and the audience with his amazing rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Hold My Hand” on America’s Got Talent 2,023. The talented youngster hit all the right high notes and received a standing ovation from everyone in the theater. Andrew, who started singing when he was a baby, traveled to America with his aunt, as his parents couldn’t make the trip because of work commitments. He said that it was his dream to become a singer and record his own songs and have a sell-out tour. He impressed judge Simon Cowell with his cool outfit of jeans and a black T-shirt, which matched Cowell’s own style. He also revealed that he had no musical background in his family, as his dad worked for cars and his mom did nails. He then proceeded to perform “Hold My Hand”, a song by Lady Gaga from the soundtrack of the film Top Gun: Maverick (2,022). The song is a hopeful arena rock track that features an anthemic chorus and an electric guitar.
