There are many flying snakes in mythology and folklore, and one of them happens to have the right initial to fit inot this episode. The Jaculus is a tree-dwelling snake that may or may not have limbs. But on thing is for sure, it kills people by skewering them with a well-aimed jump. Well actually it can also kill with blunt force, so even that one isn't sure...
