April 2017 | The home of activist Caridad Burunate is vandalized by police and State Security in Matanzas, Cuba. She, along with other activists, run Capitan Tondique Non Profit Project that feeds the homeless and elderly. The organizers of this project have constantly been repressed by the Castro Regime. Yelena Marrero was arrested for protesting along side her mother Caridad and taken ( kidnapping style) by state security agents and police.
