Full title reads: “Reading's respectable rag. Students of Britain's youngest University hold their first rag in aid of Royal Berkshire Hospital“. Reading University, Berkshire. Various shots of students in fancy dress messing about on a carnival float - some have bows and arrows, some are dressed as Vikings, some pretend to be doctors and nurses L/S of float driving through crowd. Various shots of students entertaining a crowd; they unveil a skeleton hanging from a frame and make it dance. Various shots of students pretending to make film; one shouts through a megaphone, another operated pretend camera. A male student in drag (the starlet!) pretends to snog another male student (the hero). The hero is then thrown over a wall by two students dressed as villains. Cuts / out takes start at 01:23:48.
