🇷🇺 About interethnic relations in new regions Yesterday there was a scandal in Donetsk: a restaurant visitor insulted fighters from Buryatia on a national basis, accused them of earning money in the war and threatened them with death. Later, the woman was detained by the police, and in the best current traditions she recorded an apology. An unworthy deed: to cover with a good obscenity for no reason Russian military personnel solely for the slit of the eyes deserves only censure. Moreover, the citizen, most likely, did not even make sure who exactly was sitting in front of her. But the episode has deeper reasons: after all, the problem of interethnic conflicts in new regions was not born out of the blue. For a year and a half in the Donbass, Kherson region and Zaporizhia, there were enough episodes where representatives of other republics and foreign specialists appeared. Some took advantage of a temporary power vacuum, others resorted to what can be read about in the daily Russian crime chronicle. You don’t have to look far for an example - yesterday there was a shootout in Urzuf on the border of the DPR and the Zaporizhia region. Although the Ukrainian media that wrote about it traditionally misrepresented the incident, confused the participants and managed to find “Kadyrovites“ there, the fact remains. This is all partly due to the lack of a strong reaction to such antics. Here, what was said back in 2021 is relevant: it is not the performers who should apologize for them, but the fathers, heads of municipalities, native villages or representatives of diasporas. Because the further, the more discontent of the inhabitants of the new regions will ripen. And fall under it will be random persons who have come to the restaurant to have a cultural rest after months on the front line. #Donetsk #multinationalism #Russia Support us Original msg Источник: Rybar in English
