Yin Shou Gun, The Staff with the hands held in Yin, is one of my favorite sequences. When I studied it at the Shaolin temple in the 1980s by master Liang Yiquan it was also called the “baker monk's stick“. In this video I point out some details and explain the main martial concepts. I also talk about some differences between how we were taught this Taolu then and how I see it performed today in Shaolin competitions.
