After soldering 3,000 components by hand for the Glowtie Kickstarter, I've decided to build a pick and place! I bought an OpenBuilds Acro 55 for the X and Y axis, then I'm using a RAMPS board with Marlin Firmware for a controller. At some point, I'll integrate OpenPNP into the mix for actually telling the machine what to do. Then, I'll design custom pick and place feeder assemblies to supply components for placing.
