You’ve probably seen old maps showing a giant landmass in the Southern Hemisphere. This may sound a little ridiculous that I'm even bringing this up. I mean it’s obviously Antarctica. This land has held a few different names it’s history, but it’s most commonly known as Terra Australis, which is Latin for South Land or Land of the South.
