It’s been a while since I tried my hand at something a little orchestral. Of course, it’s all sorts of strange. It was really fun to write, I just let it take me wherever it wanted to go. It ended up being mysterious throughout instead of exploding into something more grand, and I think that’s for the better for the tune. I usually think of a song as a story, with high points and low points, but this one felt like more of a single moment than a story.
