Multiple powerlines were down across town keeping firefighters and energy crews in town busy all day long. Hundreds of thousands of Kansas residents are still without power this evening as historic winds and record highs impacted a large portion of the sunflower state. Video shot by Brandon Ivey Shot list 1) A man gets hit in the face by a trashcan lid as he retrieves his trash can from the curb. 2-3) A large tree that fell through a fence and into a neighboring yard. 4-6) Home shingles being peeled back on a roof. 7) Police blocking off a road due to downed power lines. 8-9) Firefighters on scene, blocking roads, as they await for the utility company to arrive to repair downed lines and snapped poles. 10-14) Shots of power poles snapped at the base and being held up only by the lines in strong winds. 15-21) Utility
