Alongside the pristine conversion quality, the M-1610 Pro also offers extensive digital connectivity and offers a lower-cost alternative for studio and live recording setups that require the utmost in audio precision. Expanding RME’s selection of professional network audio devices, the M-1610 Pro features the same AVB network functionality as RME’s recent 12Mic and AVB Tool microphone preamps, allowing for seamless next-generation audio networking via the Audio Video Bridging specification, as well as providing MADI-based systems with additional audiophile-level I/O for high-end multi-channel recording, mixing and monitoring. The M-1610 Pro comprises 16 line level inputs with 8 line level outputs and dedicated stereo headphone outputs, as well as ADAT and MADI connections. Coaxial MADI
