Liverpool, Merseyside. Boy Scout parade is reviewed by General Edwards. Opens with shot of Lord Mayor of Liverpool (in top hat and big gold chain) chatting with old lady and General Edwards. They are standing in a line waiting for the parade to pass. Lord Mayor bends forward trying to see down street, he has a disgruntled expression on his face. Crowd behind them. General salutes and smiles, then leans over and says something to old lady. Pan showing other people on pavement and glimpse of Scouts in uniforms marching away down street. Side view of many Boy Scouts marching. The boys are of different ages and sizes. One holds a Union Jack flag. Several scoutmasters also march. C/U of parade passing Edwards and dignitaries. Good shots of the boys marching toward camera; all have serious expressions, some with flags. They are followed by a section of drummers playing, followed by boys carrying bugles. Large crowd on pavement watching. Children, youth organisations. Modified WPA record. FI
