M/S of two people on horseback in Hyde Park, London; pan left to show a line of men pumping tyres and preparing their tricycles for a race; C/U of man on horseback watching; M/S of a cyclist testing the steering on his tricycle. M/S of the cyclists getting on their tricycles as a man walks past them to start the race; commentator says “Their intention was not to ride round the block once for a dare, but to go from London's Hyde Park to Brighton without stopping“. M/Ss as he waves his hand down to start them and they cycle off very slowly. Commentator: “The men are members of the Clarion Cycling Club from Hounslow in Middlesex, and the idea behind the venture was to draw attention to the world refugee problem by distributing leaflets on the front at Brighton.“ M/Ss as they cycle round Hyde Park Corner; low angle C/U of a street sign reading 'Hyde Park Corner' and pointing to A4, Piccadilly Circus and A4203, Marble Arch.
