ВИА “Бонварон“ - Радиоконцерт 1976 г. VIA “Bonvaron“ - Radio Concert, 1976 To celebrate 50 years of Bonvaron, Ossetia's first rock band and the soviet union's third state-designated band (after Pesnyary of Belarus and Orera of Georgia), I decided to remaster (as best as I could!) their radio concert broadcasted on South Ossetia Radio in 1976. Hopefully should get rid of most of the horrid watery quality the original recording had. Bonvaron was founded in 1971 in Tskhinvali, South Ossetia Autonomous Region, USSR, (*now currently a de-facto state) who predominantly sang in their native Ossetian language, a language so uncommon not even google translate knows what it is, but also performed in Russian and Georgian as well. The band still tours today, hosting reunion concerts up and down the Caucasus strip.
