Bloody Tears Castlevania II Simon's Quest Metal Cover by FamilyJules 🩸 ▼ winner winner, wall chicken dinner ▼ 🩸 (Tabs For All Parts Available on Patreon!) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▼▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ This cover is part of FamilyJules Video Game Covers Vol. 5! 🟢 Spotify: 🎵 iTunes: ▶️ Google: 🅰️ Amazon: ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▼▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Happy Halloween, kids. Nine years ago when I started this channel, I released a Castlevania medley that featured a lot of classic Castlevania tracks that I've since really wanted to return to. This year, I've been going back and revisiting old songs from medleys to give them full song treatments for those of you who really want to hear extended versions of these songs I just touched on. Bloody Tears is one of the most famous video game songs and also one of the most popular to make a metal cover of. Corey and I had some fun with the video, I challenged my self to keep the lead guitar the focus with the arrangement and not rely too heavy on letting the rhythm guitar or bass have to pick up any slack. I originally wanted to just film the leads, but old habits die hard and I opted this time to just do close ups for those. Extending short songs is always a challenge, but it's what really keeps me coming back to video game music for covers. It allows you to both have room for a literal recreation, and also to have sections where you can go off with it. I feel with most other songs you don't really get that luxury unless you want the cover to be very long and drawn out. With this cover I had a lot of things in mind that I wanted to do going into it, but once I started laying down arrangement, the song kind of took it's own direction and instead of fight it, I let it become what it wanted to be in my hands. I really enjoyed messing with the chord progressions and taking a full solo. Hope you guys dig what I did with this classic! I'm also going to take these strings off and burn them. No one should ever have to play in F standard for any other reason. Ouch. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▼▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Follow me! 🐦 📘 🕹 💬 📷 If you'd like to support me, pledge to me on Patreon or buy my music! 🧡 🥁 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▼▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Proudly endorsed by: Ernie Ball Strings () Schecter Guitars () Get your next piece of music gear through my affiliate link for Sweetwater! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▼▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Filming by: Corey Dyer () Composed by: Kenichi Matsubara ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▼▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Instruments Used: Lead Guitar: Ernie Ball Majesty Monarchy Series Rhythm Guitar: Schecter C-7 Multiscale SLS Elite Bass: Schecter Diamond-J 5 Interface: Axe-Fx III Mixer: Makie ProFX12 Microphone: Shure SM7B Audio Technica AT2020 Audio Software: Cubase 10 Video Software: Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 Video Camera: Panasonic Lumix GH5s Check out my entire list of equipment here:
