John Constable Tour

De Britse kunstenaar John Constable (1776-1837) is een van de beste landschapschilders aller tijden. Van 19 september 2020 t/m 27 juni 2021 presenteert Teylers Museum de eerste overzichtstentoonstelling in Nederland van deze meester uit de romantiek. Vanuit Canada, Londen en Oxford komen de mooiste tekeningen, aquarellen en schilderijen naar Nederland. Hoofdconservator Kunstverzamelingen Terry van Druten neemt je mee door de tentoonstelling John Constable in Teylers Museum. From 19 September 2020 to 27 June 2021, Teylers Museum (in Haarlem) presents the first retrospective exhibition in the Netherlands of this master of Romanticism. A beautiful array of drawings, watercolours and paintings came to the Netherlands from Canada, London and Oxford.
