You'll spend longer trimming this fly than tying it. It's super easy and bares some resemblance to the Kinky Muddler (Jonny King) and EP flies (Enrico Puglisi) that have been around for years. I like the suppleness of the nayat tail and stiffness the Strung Fuzzy in this particular variant. However do play around with different materials and find what you like. Here in the UK I tend to use it as a dropper fly for perch, and will very often hook two in a cast. Of course this also makes a fantastic point fly for sea bass if you tie on a salt hook. Material List: Ahrex XO774 or SA280 from sizes 2-8. I use a sz 6 in the tutorial GSP100 white which I wax. Mono is fine too Tail is white Bigstreamers nayat with Hedron Polar flash in silver Body is a blend of Hedron Strung Fuzzy Fibre and Bigstreamers Baitfish Fibre in Tan and white Eyes are 5mm flat eyes Music Credit –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Travel - JayJen & tubebackr Creative Commons — Attribution-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported — CC BY-ND 3.0 Free Download / Stream: Music promoted by Audio Library ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
