Due to Afghanistans rich musical heritage there is a big variety of rhythms, instruments, music styles and specific melodies that form the world of Afghanistans music. This project represents only an excerpt of this great musical world and embodies a beautiful arrangement of 3 traditional rhythms paired with traditional afghan sounds and melodies in Mahali style This musical compilation begins with a rhythm and melody which style found its birth in the region of Logar blending into a tune with a pure Pashto vibe in Mughuli. This is continued with a rhythm in Dadra and finds its crowning conclusion in a Qataghani melody. To enhance the authenticity, all instruments were recorded acoustically. The listener can enjoy traditional instruments like the Robab (“the king of all instruments“), Dhol, Tabla, Flute and many more. The video should accompany the traditional melodies with a performance of the Dhol instrumentalist “Aqbal Rahi“ as well as classical Afghan dance performed by the wonderful Sirino_Er. T
