South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol made his first visit to #Ukraine on Saturday, in an apparent show of support for the war-torn country in its protracted fighting against #Russia. Yoon’s office said he visited Ukraine with his wife Kim Keon Hee at the end of his two-nation trip that took him to the NATO summit in Lithuania and Poland. Yoon visited toured Bucha and Irpin near #Kyiv before laying flowers at a monument for the war dead and holding a summit with Ukrainian President Volodymyr #Zelenskyy later in the day. It’s Yoon’s first visit to Ukraine since the Russian-Ukraine war began - the visit was not publicized in advance.
