This incredible GT-R build by @T1Race showed a new side to the R35 platform. They went with a big tire, rear wheel drive layout which showed an insane amount of potential for drag racing over the typical AWD bunny hopping, sideways counter steering bucking bull that is common with 2-3000HP GT-Rs. They debuted the car at the recent Hail Mary Derby event in Maryland and the 1st pass ever down the track netted a 7sec pass! Two passes later it was in the 6s and carried that out the rest of the weekend. Literally made it look “easy“ compared to what it normally takes for a GT-R to run 6s at 200mph in the 1/4 Mile. I can't wait to see what else Tony and the crew at T1R does with this build. This is still a VR38DETT but with an M&M Transmissions TH400, Mark Williams solid rear axle, and twin VS Racing 80/75 turbos. Chassis work done by Brink Racecraft.
