The last few years have been big for me. After years of denial I began the process of confronting my sexuality after falling in love with my best friend. I wrote this song as a reflection of my experience, the way I would blame others for how I felt, my belief that if I just kept quiet all the feelings would go away and no one would know how I felt. This song is the first from my upcoming EP, which is made up of a collection of songs that were written through this period. I am so proud of these songs and the person I am today and I can't wait to share this new chapter with you all. Sorry I've been away for so long but my goodness does figuring yourself out take TIME.
