Court postpones Omotoso and co-accuseds trial

Gqeberha High Court has postponed the trial of Timothy Omotoso and two co-accused to 13 November 2023. This comes after Judge Irma Schoeman dismissed an acquittal application by the defence. Omotoso, a televangelist, was arrested by the Hawks in April 2017 and charged with rape, sexual assault and human trafficking. Newzroom Afrika’s Siphosethu Booi reports.
