The monster hedge on the Bathurst Estate in the Cotswolds has had its annual trim after growing over 40ft. It took two men around 80 working hours on top of a cherry picker to cut back the 300 year-old giant. They lopped off the top six inches of new growth, removing nearly a tonne of clippings which are used to produce a life-saving cancer drug.
