As a Swiss premium brand with roots going back to 1862, we seek to preserve the beauty of mountain landscapes. Glaciers are central to that landscape and are melting faster every year due to climate change. The Alps near Mammut's headquarters in Switzerland are experiencing one of the highest rates of melt globally. We as mountain enthusiasts are watching climate change in real time. Many of us, moved by the power and sadness of this loss, have committed to making changes in our lives to reduce our CO2 footprint. Aligned with the goals of the Paris Agreement, Mammut has signed the Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action, setting out ambition to reduce our Greenhouse Gas emissions by at least 30% by 2030 and becoming Net Zero by 2050. We realize we are at the beginning of this journey, but we are committed to the cause and the glaciers.
