SWMRS - Too Much Coffee (Live Performance) SoCal doesn't own ALL of the music scene, and the proud title of SWMRS first album 'Drive North' reminds that the Bay Area has long been responsible for lots of great sounds. Cole and Max Becker, Sebastian Mueller, and Joey Armstrong came up in Berkeley, and though the feisty alt-rock tracks on the debut have a catchy design at their center, an energetic nod to old school punk marks their every move. They've take cues from riot grrl politics and still make room for a cover of The Cure's “Boys Don't Cry.“ Their new 'Berkeley's On Fire' album gooses all the elements mentioned above. They're def leveling up. Watch 'em burn through “Too Much Coffee“ and “April in Houston“ in our exclusive performances.
