A moderate earthquake struck Orange County Wednesday afternoon, with shaking felt in multiple areas around Southern California. The temblor had a preliminary magnitude of 4.1, though it was initially reported at 4.3, according to the United States Geological Survey. The quake struck at 1:49 p.m. at a depth of nearly a mile and was centered in the Santa Ana Mountains about 5.6 miles southwest of Corona near the border of Riverside and Orange counties.
