Restoration Broken Rusty Cleaver - I Did it Anyway

Hello folks! Today I'm restoring a broken rusty cleaver. My familiar waited for this restoration for 4 months and finally I agreed. Well, the blade is interesting, with a stamp, perhaps the beginning of the 20th century. If someone knows, please write about it in the comments. Well, let's start the restoration. The first duty I straightened the tang and, after much thought, decided to cut off part of the cutting edge. (The ideas were still forged - but then the geometry and the stamp of the cleaver itself could deteriorate). After I cut off the broken part, level editor the sanding machine and made new levels. Next, I placed the cleaver in a rust remover, washed, dried and sanded by hand with sandpaper from 40-240 grit. The handle for the cleaver, I turned on a wood lathe. The wood was used by beech.
