Lena: Welcome, cousin Tanya, to San Diego. I’m glad you’re here. Tanya: I have heard that you have a lot of beautiful beaches in Southern California. Lena: Oh, you’ll love them. I think that a lot of tourists come here just for the sea and sand. Tanya: I know the sun gets hot. I’ll be sure to put on a lot of sun block and wear a hat. Lena: Good planning, Tanya. It’s good to watch how much sun you get. A little sun on your skin is healthy, but too much sunlight isn’t good for you. Tanya: There’s not much sun today, though. Lena: Yes. There aren’t many days in July when we get cloudy weather, but today is one of them. That’s why I would like to us to see the zoo today. It’s a few minutes away from here. We can walk. Tanya: I have heard it has a lot of wild animals. I want to see the snakes. You aren’t afraid of them, are you? Lena: I got a little information about them from my friend who has one. Most of them don’t want any contact with people. They’ll be in cages, of course. There aren’t any snakes outs
