It's an inflatable ball with a paddle on each end. Charles gets into the water and swims along, turning the paddles on the hydrosphere as he goes. Commentator says he invented the device and became an aspirant for Channel honours. (Location of events unknown - somewhere in Britain?) We next see various shots of Mr Munro, the lightning street sculptor, at work. As a crowd of children look on, Munro stands in the street and throws a piece of clay at a board. He works fast to sculpt a face from the clay. He changes the features around to make another face (looks a bit like Disraeli). He quickly smoothes out the features and creates yet another face.
