Shantnu and Nikhil at Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI. Shantnu & Nikhil's collection 'Capella', revisits the opulence that was served by the Baroque Era and its majestic artifact: The Chandelier. Owing to the era, embroideries are inspired by the Baroque motif leaves lace, and architecture. Everything is exaggerated in terms of silhouettes- to match the opulence of the early 17th century. The colours used this season are Off-White, Mint-Gold, and Charcoal, all an ode to the interiors of a Baroque palace. Nevertheless, More is more this season! There’s a revisit to tiers of tulle and veil to accentuate the sensuous richness and the beauty of movement. To keep the authenticity of the art alive, they’ve used baroque lace embroidered in Dori work. Each piece has a story to tell, an eye to catch and most importantly, an art to define. @shantanunikhil @lakmeindia @fdciofficial @r1seworldwide @nexaexperience #ReadyForACloseUp #FDCIxLakméFashionWe
