Panlasang Pinoy Knife: Sauteed Okra with Tomato and Ground Pork 15 pieces okra ¼ lb. ground pork 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon oyster sauce 2 pieces tomatoes 1 piece onion 5 cloves garlic 1 cup water ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper 3 tablespoons cooking oil Heat the cooking oil in a pan. Sauté garlic, onion, and tomatoes. Once the onion and tomatoes soften, add the ground pork. Sauté it until for 2 minutes or until it tuns medium brown in color. Pour the soy sauce. Continue cooking for 30 seconds. Add ½ cup water. Cover the pan and continue cooking until the water evaporates completely. Add the okra. Sauté it for 30 seconds. Add the oyster sauce and remaining water. Stir and cook for 2 minutes. Season it with ground black pepper. Transfer to a serving plate. Serve this with white rice. Share and enjoy!
