Today, through the study of immunology, we know that macrophages account for several body functions such as the destruction of bacterias, viruses, immune complexes and neoplasic cells. They also eliminate excess cholesterol, steroids and fibrin as well. Thus, to summarise, by stimulatin an increase of macrophages through autohemotherapy, we can speed up the cure of virus or bacterial infections, lower cholresterol, cure arterioscleroses and diseases caused by blood clotting in the arteries, such as infarcts and thromboses. It is a pity that auto-hemotherapy being such a simple and harmless therapeutic method was abandoned when antibiotics appeared on the scene as a panacea that became widely known as the cure for a all deseases.
