The Hurtigruten is the mailboat service that travels up the Norwegian coast from Bergen in the South to Kirkenes in the North. Rørvik is one of the places where the northbound and southbound ships pass. Last time I went (2017), both ships docked together. This time, I was on MS Trollfjord (coming from the South) which arrived just as MS Nordlys was leaving. At 22:00 on an August summer night (which was when this meeting took place), it is still quite light, with the sun setting. The video starts with Trollfjord passing under the impressive Nærøysund suspension bridge. There was a howling, cold, headwind, so it was difficult to take a steady video. I stabilised it, but this has caused a couple of weird warping effects. It's better than the original though! After this, you can see the sunset ballet as Nordlys leaves and passes Trollfjord.
