After 6 weeks on the road exploring the sunny American south, I return to the cabin on the coldest day of the year. On the first warmer day, I take advantage of the winter thaw to replace the front windows on the cabin, from salvaged single pane wood fixed windows to new wood and double pane awning windows that will provide better insulation in the winter and more ventilation in the summer. I talk about where I've been, show some footage of the American southwest and share some plans for upcoming projects. Apple Podcast: Spotify: Podcast: Patreon: Rumble: Hi, I'm Shawn James. I am a passionate outdoorsman living the life of my dreams in a log cabin that I built by myself in the Canadian wilderness. Join me and my golden retriever, Cali and listen to the sounds of the forest in this relaxing wilderness setting. I prefer to keep my talking to a minimum and let the natural sounds of nature make you feel as though you are there with me.
