TR-3 is often referred to as a civilian version of the Kalashnikov AK-12 assault rifle. Basically the main differences lay in the number of the fire control positions, the inability to fire with folded stock and the markings. The TR-3 features a new muzzle device, a new gas-trap assembly, a free-floating handguard, a gas tube cover and receiver cover with an integrated Picatinny rail, an adjustable rear aperture sight, an ergonomic pistol grip with container for accessories inside. The folding and adjustable buttstock has a cleaning kit container inside.
