Quran confirms the Bible in Sura 29:27 We granted him Ishaq & Yacob, we assigned to his descendants prophethood & the scriptures, we endowed him with his due recompense in this life, & in the Hereafter he will surely be with the righteous. Sura 45:16 We had granted to the Children of Israel the Book the Power of Command, and Prophethood; We gave them, for Sustenance, things good and pure; and We favoured them above the nations. 2. Prophets must speak not of their own accord or in their own name or any other, but in the Name of the God who sent him. (Muhammad rarely speaks on behalf of Allah but more on his own selfish desires eg sex, women, sex-slaves, war booty, hate speeches against Jews & Christians etc)
