This is “March On!“, the anthem of a 1931 British Nationalist and Anti-Communist group called the “Sentinels of Empire“, that was led by Commander Oliver Stillingfleet Locker-Lampson, and was popularly known as the “Blueshirts“. The Sentinels of Empire were formed by Locker-Lampson, a veteran of the Great War who served in the Armoured Car Expeditionary Force (ACEF), which fought alongside the Imperial Russian Army in places such as Galicia, Romania and the Caucasus, he also stated to have been asked to participate in the assassination of Rasputin in 1916, and that he had a secret plan to evacuate Tsar Nicholas II from Russia in 1917, following his abdication. The ACEF were withdrawn from Russia following the Bolshevik Revolution, though his experiences in Russia caused Locker-Lampson to become fiercely suspicious of Bolshevism, and deeply suspicious of Bolshevik influence on Britain’s economy and society. As a result of this, he organised mass rallies under the banner “Rout the Reds“ in the 1920s, which were largely attended by Rotha Lintorn-Orman’s “British Fascisti“. In 1931, he founded his own organisation, which he declared was founded “To peacefully fight Bolshevism and clear out the Reds!“ Locker-Lampson composed the group’s anthem, “March On!“, which used music from a 1929 British film called “High Treason“. A popular record had a man called Harold Williams singing the song, with a foreword by Locker-Lampson himself.
