A twist on the normal formula spitting at Disney for their mermaid protagonists. But then.. I barely got around to seeing it. And then when I did, my expectations fell of the more and more I watched this movie. Until I reached the end strikingly quick, and it was practically Disney in every way. Ruby Gillman has flopped in the box office, and I think I know why. And though the concept of this movie had some good elements to it, the end result was boring, and bland, and uninspired.
